One of our policies is we cannot allow people to return bulk food if they do not have all of it with them (as in they ate/used some of it than wanted to return it) This woman came in asking for me to refund her for honey that someone punched in as corn syrup, but she had already used it and didn’t have it with her clearly. I told her about the policy and she flipped out, demanding to speak to my supervisor. When I calmly told her “I am the supervisor on duty tonight” she called me a dumbass and stormed out. Sadly, similar things happen at least once a day to me and the other three supervisors.   This happens to me a lot too.  I get cussed at more than anyone else because I will not be moved when I’ve told you no.  If I’ve told you no then no.  If you’re polite and understanding I’ll try to work something out. If you get rude and demanding then trust me when I say I’d rather have you report me to corporate than let you have your way.
